| Editor Button | Description of Function | Notes |
 | Saves the content on the page and returns you to the View Mode | Click this button in order to save any changes |
 | Allows you to edit the HTML | If you make any changes in source, it will be run through MindTouch Deki's XHTML validator. If it is invalid XHTML it will be stripped out. |
 | Removes the formatting of the Highlighted text | Beneficial if you copy over content that has a lot of formatting that you want to remove before saving |
 | Changes the color of the text | If there is a specific color required, you can go into Source and manually add the color code |
 | Highlight text | Changes the background color of text |
 | Insert Extensions | Any extensions that are available in MindTouch Deki would be accessed through this button |
 | Transformations | This allows you to apply syntax transformations to code - The code must be marked as Formatted before the transformation can be applied |
 | Cancel | Cancels out of the editor |
 | Bold | Bolds the text |
 | Italics | Changes the text to italics |
 | Underline | Underlines text |
 | Strike Through | Strikes through the text |
 | Ordered List | Creates a numbered list |
 | Bulleted Lists | Creates a bulleted list out of text |
 | Left Justify | Aligns the text to the left |
 | Center Justify | Aligns the text in the Center |
 | Right Justify | Aligns the text to the Right |
 | Block Justify | Aligns the text in block |
 | Decrease Indent | Decreases the indent of indented text |
 | Increase Indent | Increases the indent of text |
 | Block Quote | Puts text into a Block Quote, which indents it to stand out from the rest of the body text |
 | Insert/Edit Link | Edits or Inserts a Link into the Deki Page |
 | Insert/Edit Image | Edits or Insert an image into a Deki Page |
 | Insert Video | Inserts a Video into a Deki Page |
 | Insert Template | Inserts a Template from your list of Templates - Templates are found by going to Tools -> Templates |
 | Insert Table | Inserts a Table into a Deki Page |
 | Style | Allows you to apply a Style to Text |
 | Format | Allows you to format text within the Deki page like Formatted, H1, H2, H3...etc |
 | Font | Allows you to apply different fonts to text |
 | Size | Allows you to change the size of text |
